AVTR Program (Avatars only)

This is generally the hangout for all avatars. It is the hut-like area you saw in the movie, where Jake spends his first Avatar night on Pandora. You may chat, train, hang outside, etc. You can play basketball, football, soccer. It's like a playground for 9 feet tall blue folk.

Sal changed into a black tanktop and khaki pants, and sat on the porch outside. The air smelled like berries here, and she watched as the other avatars ran around, played sports, and talked while walking through some kind of fruit field.
Sally stands to her feet, and sees Dr. Alice holding a clipboard, and smiling.

Alice looks up at the tall new half-na'vi. "You got tall. Come with me, there's lots to learn!"

Sally collapses on the hut floor in exhaustion. She thinks about Tsteu Nantang, the only kind na'vi she had seen all day. She falls asleep and wakes up in the link chamber, disappointed that her day had to end, as crappy as it was.

Sal runs around the farm-like portion of the avatar program area, and picks off strange looking fruits, and tests quite a few of them. Her favorite is one that looks like a clump of berries, but is actually one solid fruit. She then goes to the basketball court and shoots some hoops with other avatars. Afterwards, Sal practices agility in the obstical course. Then, after a very long and tiring day, she sits on the stairs of the hut, watching Polyphemus (The giant blue planet).

Alice sees Sally looking at the sky. "Sally! What's up, you never reported in yesterday! What happened?"

"Oh, sorry. I did a short video log, if you didn't check." Alice shook her head. "Well, the na'vi captured me and three others. I was bound inside hometree, then this one named...Tsteu Nantang? Yeah, that's it; he came up and he said he wouldn't bother any of the avatar drivers if we left the Omaticaya alone. So, I agreed, and now we have to keep out of that area."

Alice sighs. "Selfridge is gonna LOVE that." she says and walks back to the control room.

Brian is taken into the large hut in the traing ground, and he changes into the khaki shorts and the thin t-shirt. Then he is set free. He sits down for a minute to collect his thoughts, afterwards he stands up and starts jogging around the paremeter of the base. After a few laps he can feel his legs getting tired. He quick runs the obby (my lingo for obstacle course) then goes back to the hut and lays down for bed. He arrives in the link room. He sits up, his eyes wide in amazement.

Sally is linked to her Avatar, and starts to train with a few other avatars. They run across the obstical course a few times, then stop and play a game of soccer. When they are finished excersizing, Sally goes into the hut and records her video log, wanting to see if she would pass doing it as an avatar. Nobody stopped her.

Brian links up and heads out onto the grounds. He sees Sally and walks up to her, he starts to say, "Hello I dont think we have formally met, my name is Brian," he extends his massive blue hand for a handshake, "and your Sally right? People were telling me to talk to you about controlling my Avatar so do you have any tips?"

Mineya lands several yards away from hells gate and meets up with Taronyu, Llanu and Tsteu Nantang a few feet from the fence of the AVATAR program they decide to wait until night fall before going in.

After waiting a while Brian realizes he has the wrong person, he goes to the cabin and sleeps.

Then at nightfall Taronyu, Llanu, and Tsteu Nantang jump the fence using a high branch on the trees. Then they grab Sally's Avatar. Mineya lands toruk inside the fence and they give Sally to her to take back to hometree. The rest of the party uses the cabin to jump the fence again and runs back towards hometree.

Sally runs back to the cabin, then puts her hands on her knees, panting. She rubs her forehead and lays down on one of the cots, and falls asleep, waking in her real body.

Brian spends the next few weeks training, afterwards he feels stronger then he ever felt possible. He likes the feeling.

Brian links up walks out of the cabin and hops the fence into the Wilderness...

Brian comes back a day later, a little bloody, he lays down in the cot and falls asleep, transferring to his human body.

Tara has been training her movement for a while. She is going through the obstacle coursetenth time the least. One thing is missing. It's too calm and quiet without a drill sergeant shouting above her head.
She spends the day exploring the place, within the boundaries of the fences, of course. In the evening she cuts her hair to a longer crew cut, used to short hair. Only leaving the braid with the creepy cillia in it's middle, without any further medical description it is obviously there for a reason. She watches the forest for a while before before going to sleep with both her avatar and human bodies.
